Dr. Andrew Stahler, a native of New York, NY, joined Baptist Medical Group in 2020. He is a graduate of Yeshiva University in New York City, earning bachelor’s degrees in both biology and history. He received his medical degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, and completed his residency at Richmond University Medical Center in New York. Dr. Stahler specializes in general obstetrics and gynecology, labor and delivery, contraceptive counseling and minimally invasive gynecological surgery.

What is the most important factor in a doctor patient relationship and why?

Trust. A patient must feel comfortable and confident to discuss issues that may be bothering them without fear or uncertainty. By being fully honest with each other, both and patient and doctor can have a complete picture of what the issues are, and work together to arrive at the best possible outcome.

What hobbies or activities do you enjoy when you're not working?

I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking and travel.

What about your line of work do you find the most rewarding and why?

I truly enjoy guiding patients through all aspects of their reproductive life, from adolescence to their reproductive years to the menopausal transition and beyond.
