What can a patient expect when they have you as a doctor?

You will receive excellent care by a warm and skilled physician. I treat all my patients the way that I would like for my own family members to be treated, with compassion, assurance, respect and open communication.

What is the most important factor in a doctor patient relationship and why?

Trust and understanding are paramount in a doctor-patient relationship. When a physician understands a patient's desires and needs, he is able to deliver better care. When a patient is confident that a physician is trustworthy and understands his explanation, she is more likely to accept and achieve success from her care plan.

What hobbies or activities do you enjoy when you're not working?

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, watching classic movies, jogging and outdoor sports.

What about your line of work do you find the most rewarding and why?

While many issues in my field are acute, they often can have a satisfying ending. Having a baby is one of the happiest times in a family's life story, and it is wonderful to be a part of that experience. From a gynecologic perspective, I get great satisfaction when an issue, like abnormal uterine bleeding or troublesome fibroids, is completely resolved. Happy endings and good results are common in my line of work.
