Baptist Golden Triangle Designated an Aetna Institute of Quality Facility

09/20/2021

COLUMBUS, Miss. – Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle was recently designated an Aetna Institute of Quality Cardiac Care Facility for comprehensive heart and vascular treatment.

This designation recognizes hospitals and facilities in Aetna’s network that offer specialized clinical services for certain health conditions and consistently deliver evidence-based, safe care.

“Our team works hard to deliver high-quality, comprehensive cardiac care to people in our region,” said Kayla Pruitt, associate administrator of cardiac services at Baptist Golden Triangle. “The Aetna Institute of Quality Designation is the result of continuous performance improvement from our team and attention to consistent outcomes for our cardiac patients.”

Aetna makes information about the quality and cost of health care services available to its members to help them make informed decisions about their health care needs.

Baptist Golden Triangle offers a full range of cardiac diagnostic services to identify and treat heart disease. These services include invasive procedures, such as the transcatheter aortic valve replacement, and other forms of cardiac surgery and noninvasive procedures like stress tests and HEART score tests.
