Baptist Union County welcomes new physician

NEW ALBANY, Miss., – Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County announced the addition of Rowland M. Roberson, M.D., to its staff.

He is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with expertise in joint replacements.

Roberson completed his undergraduate degree in biochemistry at the University of Mississippi and went on to attend medical school at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine—completing his residency in orthopedics while there. Roberson concluded his fellowship at the Southern Joint Replacement Institute at Vanderbilt University in Nashville.

He is also a former college athlete with long ties to north Mississippi.
