Individual and Couples Counseling
The Universal Parenting Place offers individual and couples counseling to help families cope with a variety of parenting challenges, including understanding your ACE score at no charge. Clients can meet one on one with a professional, trauma-informed counselor to discuss individualized goals and positive, brain-based parenting strategies.
Individual Counseling
Parents can meet one on one with a licensed counselor to discuss parenting concerns at scheduled appointment times. Some of our parents seek help with specific parenting challenges, while some are looking to discuss adversity in their own background and how it is impacting their parenting today. Parents can focus on their own journey in parenthood and how to be the parent that they want to be.
Couples Counseling
It’s typical for parents to have different ideas from each other on how to raise children. Couples can meet together with a licensed counselor to discuss a variety of issues including differences in parenting styles as well as co-parenting during separation and divorce. Couples can work on communication skills that can help them understand one another as well as effectively parent their children together.
